Join ecologists on Saturday, March 7th for a nature walk of the Marketplace Marsh portion of Los Cerritos Wetlands. Learn about the history of the wetlands and how businesses co-exist with and impact the wetlands. Look for herons and see how winter rains have prompted growth. Participants in previous hikes have observed song birds, hawks, owls and rabbits. The two-hour walk begins at 8 a.m. Park at the intersection of PCH and 1st St., just at the border of Long Beach and Seal Beach.
