Kidnapped Baby Found Dead in Dumpster
The body of the three-week-old girl whose parents and uncle were shot in a Long Beach home has been found in a dumpster near the border.

The body of the 3-week-old girl kidnapped after her parents and uncle were wounded in a North Long Beach shooting was found this afternoon in a dumpster in San Diego County’s Imperial Beach, Long Beach police confirmed.
The confirmation came from the Long Beach Police Department’s Marlene Arrona.
The body the infant girl was found shortly before 1:30 p.m., said San Diego County sheriff’s Lt. Jim Walker.

A woman said she found the remains in a trash bin behind a restaurant in the shopping center, according to one report.
Investigators believe the gunman took 10-pound Eliza Delacruz from a home in the 100 block of West 51st Street after the shooting on Saturday.

Officers found the shooting victims after being dispatched to a shooting call about 5:50 p.m. Saturday, Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department said.
“Two victims remain in critical but stable condition at local hospitals. The third victim has been treated and released,” she said.
The two wounded men are brothers, she said.
Police do not believe the shooting was a random act.
Meanwhile, the hunt continued for the gunman, who was described only as Hispanic or black with dark skin.
