A Long Beach police detective was arrested Thursday for allegedly passing on information to the city's Baby Insane Crips street gang as her department investigated a slaying, officials said.
Robinson's arrest comes shortly after being selected as a recipient of the 2012 “Homer L. Garrott Community Service Award” by the Southern California Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (“NOBLE”). This annual event highlights dedicated professionals who are committed to the community they serve.
