LEGO(r) BrickQuilt Resurfaces at Lowell Elementary School on Saturday

The Long Beach LEGO(r) user group is helping out at local schools Lowell and Fremont this weekend.

Two carnivals, same day! Saturday, May 30th!

LOWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

The Long Beach LEGO(r) User Group is re-launching the BrickQuilt project at the Lowell Elementary School LEGO my Lowell carnival this Saturday, May 30th.

Quilt block 1, created in 2014 by the community over many events, was a 4’ x 8’ American flag.

Quilt block 2, which will be launched at the Carnival, will be a 4’ x 4’ eagle, drawn by local Long Beach artist Don Schmidt.

The BrickQuilt project was created as an engagement project for the Long Beach LEGO User Group and is supported in part by the members of Long Beach BSA Troop 14. Come to the Carnival and check it out!

FREMONT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Supported by members of the Long Beach LEGO User Group, a youth free play area will be available for carnival attendees.
