Long Beach Man Shot to Death on PCH

A young man who was fatally shot in Long Beach was identified today.

Police were called to the 100 block of East Pacific Coast Highway about 10 p.m. Sunday on a call of shots fired with a man down, Long Beach police Lt. Mark Coble said.

Andre Berero, 23, of Long Beach died at a hospital, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.

No suspects were immediately arrested, Coble said. The death was being investigated as possibly gang-related.
