Learn how the remaining wetlands in Long Beach/Seal Beach are being acquired and restored. Ecologists will lead a nature walk on Saturday, February 1st through a 33 acre parcel acquired in 2010 through a land-swap. Walk among the freshwater marsh habitat, which was created by water runoff from the Market Place Shopping Center. The two-hour walk begins at 8 a.m. Park at the intersection of PCH and 1st St., just at the border of Long Beach and Seal Beach.
