Monday Wave Check

The surf is very small.

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your surf report.  Well, you're going to have do get on the road and do some driving if you're planning on finding any playful waves.  Yep, conditions around Seal Beach are looking pretty dismal!

We're seeing some clean and glassy conditions early on, with a mix of some minor leftover west-northwest swell and a little residual southerly energy in the water.  That's making for some pretty gutless little lines, with not much to work with.

Most spots in the Seal Beach area are seeing ankle-high waves, with the top spots pulling a few knee-high plus-sets.

At 5:19 this morning the tide dropped to a 1.5 low which will have many spots lacking water early on.  The tide then climbs back up to a 3.9 high at 11:03 later this morning and then drops once again to a 1.0 low at 5:14 this evening.

If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees.  See ya in the water!
