
Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your surf report. Well, the coast is looking very quiet out there. So, it's looking like a good day to get out an SUP.
Overall, we're seeing only some very minimal energy in the water. It's pretty clean and glassy, with a very small combination of residual northwest swell and a tad of southwesterly energy.
That recipe is offering some really weak little lines, with maybe a few that'll get you going on a log. Most breaks in the Seal Beach area are seeing ankle high waves, with not much more than that.

At 5:40 this morning the tide climbed way up to a 5.5 high which will have some breaks pretty full or even shut down early on. The tide then drains out to a negative 0.6 low at 1:07 this afternoon.
If you insist on getting wet...then throw on at least a 3/2 full-suit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!!
