Mother of Two Found Girls Arrested
The mother of two sisters found Saturday has been arrested on suspicion of alleged felony child endangerment.

The 33-year-old mother of two girls, 9 and 13, who were reported missing Wednesday after she handed them off to a stranger was arrested today, police announced.
Diondria Cherie Davis was was placed in custody this morning on suspicion of felony child endangerment, Long Beach police spokeswoman Lisa Massacani said.
Her daughters Sharron Cherie Bess, 13, and Deony Cherie Goodwin, 9, who
were last seen Wednesday leaving a motel in the 800 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, have been located, according to Nancy Pratt of the Long Beach police.

"They were with their mom at a motel,'' Pratt said. "A man the mother
knew to live at the motel vouched for the woman and told the mother to let her take the children,'' she said. Davis reported the girls missing Friday said Massacani.
Long Beach police investigators identified the female suspect who took the children as 'CC,' and obtained video that showed both girls leaving the motel with 'CC.'

"Shortly after the information was broadcast, `CC' contacted Los Angeles County Sheriff's in Lynwood, where she was at the time with the two girls,'' Massacani said in a statement.
The woman is currently being questioned for her role in the incident, and it has not yet been determined whether she will be arrested.
Davis' last known city of residence is Sacramento.
