Naples Kitchen Designer Takes Home Trophy

After months of anticipation, local Naples kitchen designer with what she calls her "career kitchen," won a prestigious award this fall from the National Kitchen and Bath Association's annual home design competition.

Of the Southern California chapter, Sperry's kitchen won second place in the category of Best Large Contemporary Kitchen. With it, Sperry received a full page spread in the Kitchen Trends Magazine, as well as publication on the websites www.nkba.org and www.nkba-socal.org.

That put Sperry in the competitive spirit, and she's gone full-steam ahead. In November, she did a photo shoot of the same job site in order to enter the kitchen into a new nationwide NKBA competition for 2012, in the categories of Best Large Kitchen and Best Before and After Kitchen.

Sperry said, "There are diffferent prizes for this much bigger competition, which I'm really excited about."
