Police Shoot at Armed Robber Suspect in Long Beach
No one was injured in the shooting, and three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

An officer-involved shooting occurred in Long Beach today as police investigated an armed robbery, but no one was struck and no officers were injured, authorities said.
All three robbery suspects were taken into custody, according to Marlene Arrona of the Long Beach Police Department.
Officers responded slightly before 4 p.m. to the 400 block of Cowles Street to investigate an armed robbery that had just happened, Arrona said.

“Responding officers encountered the potential suspects and an officer involved shooting occurred,” she said.
Two uninjured suspects were taken into custody and a third later was located unhurt after officers set up a search perimeter, Arrona said.
