Raptor Ramble

Ecologists will offer a free nature walk on Saturday, January 4th.  Participants will observe some of the many species of birds that thrive in the wetlands.  A highlight of the walk will be learning about the Tongva Native Americans who lived in the area and made use of the resources provided by the wetlands.
The entrance to the wetlands is at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and 1st Street, at the border of Long Beach and Seal Beach.  There is ample parking.  The walk is from 8 am to 10 am.  To RSVP contact Elizabeth at ejlambe@verizon.net.   Learn more about the wetlands at www.lcwlandtrust.org.
