Ever since the craft beer market helped give Americans a beer palate, I can't image why marketing has convinced people to drink bad beer, and by bad I mean "domestic," although that's the most abusive use of the word I can think of without putting treasonous adverbs after it.

One of the many selling points about Tavern on 2 is the fact that there isn't a bad beer in the joint, precisely because the exclude the beers that have a 74 percent market share of the beer market, which means you have to try a beer you most likely have not.

Their wine menu is equally impressive, and pairings can be easily achieved even if you don't recognize any of the drinks on tap because their servers are remarkably well-versed in the menu.

Another crucial aspect to a tavern-like experience in the 21st century is the ability to connect my laptop, and for this they also score points, which means I can drink, eat and work, in any particular order.  Whenever a new place doesn't offer wi-fi, I literally give up on it based on its poor decision-making.

And if you still have room at the end, I recommend the Maui Brew Company's Coconut Porter Beer Float! Last time I had the beer was in Maui and if you toss in some ice cream with it you've discovered the very dessert that will give the Pazooki a run for it's money.
