The Plural of LEGO is LEGO
I wouldn't normally post about a crossword puzzle error, but this is one clue that doesn't lead to the provided result.

Every so often, one or the other of my fans (I do have a couple of fans who read my blog) will suggest something for me to post about...
This is such a time.
BOTH of my fans today suggested that I place this correction.
Apparently the December 31st crossword puzzle in the LA Times listed a clue: 15 across - Toy Blocks. Five letters.
Well, everyone knows that's DUPLO, don't they?
The solution provided was LEGOS... Huh?
Sorry, LA Times, the plural of LEGO is LEGO.
But I suppose you want some proof...

The LEGO Company Profile document is the one you want. On the last page, this information is provided:
"• The LEGO brand name must never be used as a generic
term or in the plural or as a possessive pronoun, e.g.
“LEGO’s”."
And to my two fans. You're welcome.
