Fishing Boat as it Sinks Off Long Beach Today
U.S. Coast Guard tells Patch columnist Phil Friedman that it's investigating the boat's sinking, which was observed by curious whale watching boaters, whales and dolphins.
This photograph was taken on a spectacular weekend morning by one of the boaters out gazing at fin whales and dozens of dancing dolphins. The owner of the sinking boat was not immediately known but the U.S. Coast Guard was on the scene and conducting an investigation into the mysterious case.
