UPDATE: Nate Dogg funeral limited to first 1,000 callers
Authorities have released to the media this morning that not everyone will be able to pay their respects.

Due to the outpouring of interest from fans and the high volume of expected attendees, access to Nate Dogg's funeral and evening performance by Snoop Dogg will be limited to the first 1,000 callers.
Tickets are available before 3 p.m. today, or until supply runs out. Interested parties are being instructed to call the Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews' office at (562)570-6147 to request a ticket.
The funeral is being held at the Queen Mary Dome tomorrow at 10 a.m. and a tribute performance by rapper friends like Snoop Dogg will be held later in the evening at the same location at 7 p.m. Tickets to the funeral will also allow access to the performance, but the city is advising those without tickets not to make any attempts to attend either event.

For those with tickets, public parking will not be available. Instead, shuttle plans will be revealed later on in the day, and a valid California driver's license is required to enter.
The public viewing today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. is still open to the public as scheduled, and will be held at New Hope Baptist Church, 1160 New York St. No cameras are allowed and there will be heavy security.
