What's Open (and Closed) on Memorial Day in Belmont Shore, Naples

From the city of Long Beach:

All Long Beach Public Libraries will be closed on Saturday, May 24, 2014 for the observance of Memorial Day. All libraries will reopen on Tuesday, May 27. (The library catalog, downloads, and databases are available 24/7.)

Trash and Recycling will be collected as scheduled on Monday, May 26. 

There will be no scheduled Street Sweeping on May 26.  Street sweeping will resume its regular schedule on May 27.   

Parking meters that state “Except on Holidays” will not be enforced on May 26.  The days and hours of enforcement are posted inside the meters. 

City of Long Beach offices and services will adhere to the following schedule on Monday, May 26. City Hall re-opens on Tuesday, May 27.

• Health Department and Health facilities
• Libraries
• Marina offices
• Neighborhood Resource Center
• Park offices, swimming pools, Rancho Los Cerritos, El Dorado Nature Center, & community park facilities
• Police administration
• Street sweeping
• Water Department (Emergencies: 570-2390) 

Open on Monday, May 26:

• Fire stations and Lifeguard stations
• Main Police Station Front Desk
• Refuse and recycling collection
