Who Doesn't Love a Humanoid Robot?

The InMoov open source robotics project is a full sized humanoid project, designed to provide learning opportunities in robotics.

What is the InMoov?

Several members of the Robotics Society of Southern California which meets at CSULB are working vigorously on their InMoov robots.

Professor Walter Martinez will be sharing his progress on the InMoov robot on Tuesday, July 12 at 12:15 PM (at the Seaport Marina Makerspace 6400 Pacific Coast Highway), a life sized open source humanoid robot project. The fingers, hands and forearms are complete and mounted, and controllable via bluetooth.

Professor Martinez will also share the Robotics ++ education platform, and has competed in the original Battlebots series. Professor Martinez creates robots to his own design, and his robots have been used in advertising videos.
