Woman Jumps from Deck of Queen Mary

It happened just before midnight.

A woman jumped off of the deck of the Queen Mary and into the water next to the historic Long Beach luxury liner and was pulled out and transported to a hospital by firefighters, a spokesman said today.

The incident occurred just before midnight this (Sunday) morning at the historic Queen Mary permanently moored in the Long Beach Harbor, said Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Jake Heflin.

“A female patient jumped from the Queen Mary and was transported to a hospital for evaluation,” Heflin said.
