Woman Struck by Car and Critically Injured Crossing PCH
A woman was critically injured today when she was struck by a car while crossing PCH near Temple Avenue.

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and critically injured today in Long Beach, police said.
The woman was crossing Pacific Coast Highway at Temple Avenue about 7:15 a.m. when she was struck by a Toyota 4Runner SUV that was eastbound on PCH, said Nancy Pratt of the Long Beach Police Department.
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment, Pratt said. The motorist remained at the scene, and the circumstances of the accident were under investigation, Pratt said.
