1 Dead In Fatal I-80 Crash Near Vacaville

VACAVILLE, CA — One man is dead following a crash on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in Vacaville on Wednesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision involved at least two cars and possibly a third and happened at about 7 a.m. in the eastbound lanes near Leisure Town Road.
As of about 9:20 a.m., only the far-right lane was open to traffic, according to CHP officials, who didn't provide an estimated time for when the other lanes might reopen.

The collision killed a man from Sacramento, who was thrown from his Acura sedan after colliding with a Honda SUV.
Impairment or fatigue appear to be a factor in the crash, according to the CHP.

Traffic was being diverted off the highway at Leisure Town Road as well as Interstate Highway 505.
