The fire was controlled around 11:55 a.m., and firefighters expected to remain at the scene for another hour or two as of about 1 p.m., Shair-Ali said. No injuries were reported.
The structure has been red-tagged because of fire extension into the roof, Shair-Ali said. No other structures were damaged, and the cause and origin of the fire are under investigation.
