2 Dead In Separate Vallejo Shootings
A man in his 20s died Wednesday in a shooting. Another man's life was claimed in a shooting Thursday.
VALLEJO, CA — Homicide investigations were underway Thursday into two fatal shootings in as many days.
At 1:19 p.m. Thursday, a shooting happened in the 900 block of Admiral Callaghan Lane near Gateway Plaza. One person, an adult male, was confirmed dead, police said.

One day prior, at 7:11 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to reports of a man lying on the ground in the 100 block of Hillborn Street.

Vallejo police and fire personnel found the victim, a man in his 20s, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and his identity was being withheld pending next of kin notification by the Solano County Coroner's Office.
"The motive and circumstances involving this shooting are under investigation at this time," police said regarding Wednesday's shooting.
