BENICIA, CA — Two little dogs are back home after being turned over to police by a citizen, who found them wandering near Chelsea Hills and Southampton area, the Bencia Police Department said this week.

The department said the pups were friendly, clean and in good health — but without collars or tags.

Benicia officers used social media to seek residents' help in identifying the dogs and finding their owner. The pups were reunited with their family Sunday, the agency said.
