2 San Francisco Men Found Shot Near Vallejo Apartment Complex
Two men were found shot near an apartment complex on Lighthouse Drive in Vallejo Friday morning, a Vallejo police lieutenant said.

VALLEJO - Two men were found shot Friday morning near an apartment complex on Lighthouse Drive in Vallejo, a Vallejo police lieutenant said.
Police received numerous calls around 2 a.m. about gunfire on Lighthouse Drive and Wilson Avenue, Lt. Herman Robinson said.
As police were interviewing a witness, a 30-year-old San Francisco man who had been shot in the back emerged from shrubbery near the Lighthouse at Bridgeport apartment complex, Robinson said.

Police then found a white Mercedes Benz with bullet holes and a shattered widow on the left side parked on the eastbound state Highway 37 on-ramp on Wilson Avenue, Robinson said.
While waiting for an ambulance, police learned that a 25-year-old San Francisco man had been taken by a private party to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the upper torso, Robinson said.

A third male who was seen jumping a fence into the apartment complex was detained for questioning, Robinson said.
The two shooting victims said they were visiting a friend in the apartment complex and drove only a block when they heard gunshots from an unknown direction, Robinson said.
The victims said they had no idea what the shooting was about, Robinson said.
Their injuries are not life-threatening.
