5 Minors, Marijuana Found In Stolen Vacaville Car

VACAVILLE, CA -- Vacaville police found five juveniles in a stolen car Friday night, and arrested one of them, police said. Just before 8 p.m., a resident in the area of Gable Street and Rocky Hill Road called police to report what they believed was drug activity in a nearby alley.

They gave police a description of the suspects and their vehicle, police said.

Officers responded to the scene and found the car, which was carrying five people inside. The license plate number was given to police dispatchers, who confirmed that car was stolen, police said.

The officers also learned that the people inside were all juveniles, between 12 and 16 years old. The officers also allegedly found marijuana in the back seat, police said.

One of the juveniles was arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall on suspicion of vehicle theft and possession of stolen property, police said.
