61 Year Old Man Dies Following Low Speed Chase

VALLEJO, CA - Vallejo police have identified a driver who died after a low-speed crash with another vehicle Saturday night as Robert Muggli, 61, of Vallejo.

Muggli was driving a Dodge Caravan in the 300 block of Illinois Street around 10 p.m. when he crashed into a parked Toyota pickup truck, Vallejo police Lt. Michael Nichelini said.

Muggli was taken to Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center, where he died. An emergency room doctor determined Muggli, who had been under a doctor's care, had suffered a fatal heart attack, Nichelini said.
