71 Vallejo Cars Towed In Effort To Reduce Blight

Vallejo police on Saturday checked more than 270 cars that were reported abandoned in an effort to reduce blight in the city.

VALLEJO - Vallejo police on Saturday checked more than 270 cars that were reported abandoned in an effort to reduce blight in the city, police said.

Officers discovered one stolen vehicle and impounded 71 cars for a variety of violations.

Police said they encourage anyone who has an unregistered vehicle or one that is missing necessary parts or otherwise has left one on the street to move it, register it or make the necessary repairs.
