Accident Closes Multiple Lanes Of Westbound I-80 Saturday Afternoon

A Sig-alert was issued at 2:46 p.m. by the CHP.

A Sig-alert has been issued on westbound Interstate Highway 80 west of Davis this afternoon due to a traffic collision that left at least two people injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident was first reported at 2:14 p.m. in the vicinity of Highway 80 and the Old Davis Road off-ramp. At least two people were transported to a hospital. One of them suffered an unspecified injury to the arm, and another victim suffered cuts to the head as a result of the crash, according to the CHP.

Four of five lanes of westbound traffic are currently closed, and a Sig-alert was issued at 2:46 p.m.
