All Clear On I-80 After Afternoon Grass Fire

All lanes have reopened on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 at the interchange with Interstate Highway 505 in Solano County after a grass fire caused closures this afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The fire was reported on the shoulder of eastbound Highway 80 at 1:11 p.m. and at one point prompted the closure of all eastbound lanes, CHP officials said.

The far right lane remained closed as of 2:45 p.m. and reopened about an hour later, according to the CHP.
