ANGELS IN LEOTARDS GIVE BACK after FLOOD devastates local gym

FLOODING did NOT stop Our Angels in Leotards from delivering 200 Christmas gifts yesterday to children in need.

FLOODING did NOT stop Our Angels in Leotards from keeping their promise to deliver 200 Christmas gifts yesterday to children in need through the Salvation Armys, Angel Tree Campaign. Great Job to our kids and all their efforts to bring joy to others as they brave uncertainty themselves.

North Bay athletics association is a NON PROFIT, community based gymnastics facility that houses over 700 gymnasts and 84 competitive gymnasts and camps for children. On December 15th our facility was hit by a major flood due to a storm and high tide. It has devastated the facility that is a non profit and does so much work to help the community and surrounding areas. We sand bagged and prepared the best we could but with the timing of the high tide there was nothing to prevent this devastation. The drainage water from all around came into the facility. Many children attend our very low cost camps while parents are at work. This was suppose to start next week with Christmas and gives a safe and fun filled environment to so many children. Our competitive season was to commence next week for our Junior olympic levels 6-10, Xcel team and our National developmental team member . These children are now displaced from the gym and sport they have worked so hard to build up and achieve in. The gym is run by parents and is second home to so many children that provides a healthy, safe and educational environment. It is not only a gym though, the children, parents, coaches and staff have worked relentlessly at giving back to the community. As the gym flooded we made sure that all the gifts bought for the angel tree campaign for children in the community were saved. Every year the facility does so much for the community, and those in need. Hosting free santa photos, community fun days with free food for children , ANGEL TREE campaign. for disadvantaged children, and so much more..North Bay athletics was honored for its community service this year. Now we really need help to save the facility which does so much for children and enable our team to compete and the program for all to keep running. The facility is 13000 square feet and was hit from every side by water. The whole flooring, walls, pit, mats etc need to be replaced. The total cost of damage is not complete yet. It would be a miracle christmas for 700 children if we can put back their gym. PLEASE HELP US GET OUR GYM UP AND RUNNING AGAIN. PLEASE SHARE OUR gofundme link below. Thankyou
