Art Scavenger Hunt Coming Up In Downtown Benicia

BENICIA, CA— Discover all the works of art that can be found in downtown Benicia galleries during the upcoming Art Scavenger Hunt, scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16. The scavenger hunt will include a number of clues for participants to answer as they walk through downtown galleries and look at art, according to Deborah Housman, event manager for Benicia Main Street.

Participants will receive a free "I Love Benicia" bag and be entered into a drawing to win $100 in Downtown Dollars, Housman said.

Participating galleries include Benicia Plein Air Gallery, HQ Gallery, Gallerie Renee Marie, Gallery 621, Once Upon a Canvas, Gallerie Renee Marie, The Little Art Shop, Happy Life Pottery and Benicia Main Street.

To take part in the event, show up Saturday, Nov. 16 and pick up a Scavenger Hunt Form from Benicia Main Street, 90 Main St., or from any of the participating galleries.
