Baseball Buds: Benicia Father's Day Photos

BENICIA, CA — Whether it's through their personality, their looks or a combination of both, children become a reflection of the man who raised them. For Father's Day 2018, we are celebrating that special bond by inviting Patch readers across California to share their "father-child lookalike" photos.

This one submitted by Benicia Patch reader Kim McInerney shows recent Benicia High School grad Christian McInerney (left) with his dad/pitching coach, Terry McInerney at their second home, the school's varsity baseball field.

"These two have spent so much time together over the last 14 years in the dugout, on the field and especially on the mound — and now he's off to college!" writes Kim. "Love them both so much!!"
