Benicia House Burglary Suspect Caught in the Act
BREAKING: A concerned resident tipped police off.
BENICIA, CA -- Police say they've nabbed a house burglary suspect after being tipped off by a concerned resident.
On Dec. 20, officers responded to the 400 block of Marina Place after someone reported a broken window at a “red-tagged” uninhabitable home. At the house, officers said they could hear movement and found Charles Colombo, 33, trying to exit a rear bedroom window.
Colombo, a transient from Stockton, was also found to be on active probation, possession of a Methamphetamine pipe with residue. The pipe and suspect are shown in the above photos.

Colombo was booked into Solano County Jail for violation of probation, possession of Methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.
