Benicia Resident Killed In Motorcycle Crash: CHP
The fatal crash happened on Lopes Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
BENICIA, CA — A Benicia man died in a motorcycle crash Thursday night on Lopes Road, the California Highway Patrol said.
Officers with CHP's Solano Area responded shortly before 7:30 p.m. Thursday to reports of a solo-motorcycle crash on Lopes Road, south of Marshview Road, according to CHP Officer David Harvey.
Shortly after their arrival, emergency medical personnel declared the solo rider deceased.

The Solano County Coroner's Office identified the rider as 69-year-old Benicia resident Harold Bray.
"The preliminary investigation shows [Bray] was riding a red Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Lopes Road and was ejected while negotiating a left turn," Harvey said. "Currently, it is unknown if alcohol and/or drugs is a factor in this collision."

The CHP was continuing its investigation of the fatal crash and asked anyone with information to contact the CHP Solano Area Office at 707-639-5600.
"Relate that you have information for CHP-Solano and Officer Jacobson who is handling this investigation," Harvey said. "Any information obtained in regard to the collision will be greatly appreciated."
