Benicia To Test Upgraded Sirens Today
BREAKING: Don't be alarmed when they go off around 11 a.m.

BENICIA, CA – The city of Benicia will test its upgraded sirens that alert residents of an emergency and that system's software today -- Wednesday.
The test is scheduled for 11 a.m. The seven sirens located throughout the city may be activated individually or citywide. They previously were tested on the first Wednesday of the month, and that schedule
will resume.

In the event of a real emergency activation of the siren system, information will be available on Benicia TV (BTV) or on the City website, www.ci.benicia.ca.us.
BTV is available on Comcast Channel 27 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Benicia Police and Fire departments also provide information on Facebook and Twitter.
