The storyline revolves around the homes of the Gibbs and Webb families and how life can be missed if you don’t put aside your digital screen long enough to notice it.
The engaging show opens at 7p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, November 6, 7, 13 and 14. Matinee performances will be offered at 2 p.m. November 8 and 15. All shows are presented at the school’s Performing Arts Building, 1101 Military West Ave., in Benicia. Admission prices are $8 for children, high school and college students with identification and $14 for general admission. A $2 discount is available for all tickets purchased online through Benicia High School’s website: www.beniciahighpeformingarts.org .
“This show is known as a classic and still teaches lessons relevant in the present day. Our show will offer a very unique and touching version of Our Town in all its simplicity, enticing the audience to play with us with their imaginations as we create reality out of thin air,“ said Christine Mani, director and BHS drama teacher.
