The BHS Panther Band and Color Guard went to Chicago for the Spring Band Trip, April 15th through April 19th. A few of the performance opportunities while in Chicago were at the Field Museum, Lincoln Park Zoo, and Carthage College. The band also had clinics and workshops at Northwestern University, had a performance exchange with a high school in Kenosha, WI, and attended a Chicago Symphony Concert. Between performances there were sightseeing opportunities such as the Field Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry, and a brief chance to explore Millennium Park, to name a few. Fifty-six students went on the trip.
