BHS swept under sunny skies at Merced Marching Competition on November 12th and shined in-spite of rain in Fairfield on November 19th.

Although the weather was polar opposites, the Benicia High School Panther Band's success was consistent in the final two marching competitions of the Fall 2016 Season.

Under sunny skies, the BHS Panther Band took Music Sweeps, Marching Sweeps, Showmanship Sweeps, Parade Sweeps, Jazz Sweeps, first in Color Guard, and fourth in Drum Major at the Merced Band Review on November 12th. On November 19th, in spite of unrelenting rain at The Tournament of Champions in Fairfield, the BHS Panther Band took Color Guard Sweeps, Parade Sweeps, Music Sweeps, first in Jazz Band, fourth in Drum Major, and the Wind Ensemble placed second. Mr. Martin was also awarded the Director's Award.
