BHS Panther Band Sweeps at Final Competition of the Year

Benicia High School’s Panther Band had an outstanding finish to the school year in style at the Vallejo Band Review on May 14th. Benicia received seven sweepstake awards: Grand Sweepstakes, Concert Sweepstakes, Parade Sweepstakes, Jazz Sweepstakes, Showmanship Sweepstakes, Music Sweepstakes, and Marching Sweepstakes. The Symphonic Band placed first. Color Guard and Drum Line both placed second; drum major Dominique Sayo also placed second. In addition to being the last competition of the year, it was an opportunity to honor the organization’s outgoing senior class of 2016.
