“Make your day sweeter with a little chocolate”
Chocolate is good for your body, heart and soul.
Consider there is a perfectly good reason why we do anything before you start judging your cravings for sweets. You desire a sweet taste after dinner from habit or eating desserts reminds you of happy times. You could be craving companionship or connection with other people, or nature. Cravings mean your body is seeking balance. Try asking yourself, “What can I do to make my day sweeter?” Think of something very self-nourishing, something that makes you happy, and possibly something that has nothing to do with food. If you decide it is chocolate you need, here’s a justification for you: Dr. Weil’s Anti-Inflammatory Food Pyramid ™ has chocolate right there on the top. Three little squares of chocolate are pictured and next to the picture it reads “Healthy Sweets (such as plain dark chocolate) Sparingly.” Have a little fun with your cravings; sometimes following your desires is just what you need to make your day.
