You can make raw cacao treats in a hotel room.

Learn how you can make raw cacao treats anywhere, even in a hotel room.

I accidentally brought a bag of chocolate making ingredients with me on a trip to the desert. I was staying in a hotel for a week and that is the longest I have gone in 9 months without making super food raw cacao treats. I discovered quickly that I didn’t need to go that long after-all. I had a simple solution: a jar of cacao beans and some honey from the hotel’s breakfast bar. Have you seen cacao beans? They can be very deep purple in color, yet are a deep brown also. The very dark colors of cacao beans indicate they are packed with nutrients. Black and purple foods are foods you want to eat. Cacao beans are very complex and have layers of flavors. The ones I have shaped like coffee beans but much larger. If cacao beans are properly fermented, dried, and stored, cacao beans have a shelf life of more than one year. Some come with the hull or shell on them. This part is edible too. I went to breakfast everyday at the hotel and I grabbed a single serving package of honey each time and used it to dip my cacao beans into, one by one. It doesn’t get any easier than that. Super nutrient dense foods like honey and cacao will satisfy you quickly and keep your mind off food for quite some time. That is one of the many powers of cacao. Cacao not only makes you happy, provides you with magnesium, anti-oxidants and vitamin C (in it’s raw form), but it also acts as an appetite suppressant. There are so many reasons to be crazy for cacao.
