Brush Fire Along I-80 In Vallejo Prompts Closure of Freeway Ramp

SOLANO COUNTY, CA -- Vallejo firefighters were responding to a vegetation fire that broke out Thursday afternoon along eastbound Interstate Highway 80 near Tennessee Street, prompting the closure of a freeway ramp, California Highway Patrol reported.

The brush fire was reported at about 3:30 p.m. Thursday, and as of 3:40 p.m., the Springs Road off ramp was closed, according to CHP.

The ramp was expected to be closed for at least 30 minutes.
