Experience a unique creative collaboration where poets read their works and artists choose a poem to inspire brand new artwork.
Artists will come hear the poems for the first event and choose a poem from which to create an art piece.
The second event, artists will bring their art and poets will re-read their poem next to the piece.
Both events will be held at the Fairfield Civic Center Library (1150 Kentucky Street, Fairfield, CA)
Dates are:
Saturday, October 3 - 1:00-3:00pm- Poetry Reading
Saturday, December 12 - 2:00- 4:00pm- Art Reveal and Poetry Reading
Participation for poets requires a poem of 39 lines or less, with a deadline to send your name and poem title to Suzanne Bruce, Fairfield Poet Laureate Emerita, by September 30th at fairfieldpoetlaureate.emerita@gmail.com
