Catch A Free Film Festival Tonight In Vacaville!

News from Solano Community College:

The Solano Community College Student Film Festival will take place at the Theatre Deville in Vacaville tonight on May 12th at 8 pm.

Students who were enrolled in the CINA 015 and CINA 016 courses will be featuring their short film projects during the festival. Students completing the classes learned “behind the camera” challenges including writing, producing, working with actors on location, lighting, shooting, editing, and assisting other members as crew. The featured work will include one short individual montage, individual short documentaries, plus three short features created by teams of students working together in groups.

The Student Film Festival takes place each semester.

Instructor Ian McIver states that, “Students have worked hard and their finished product is required to been seen by the public for the student to measure the appreciation of their completed work before graduating from the class.”

Admission for the SCC Student Film Festival is free and open to the public.
