Cops Hunt Shooters In Suisun City Incident
The car of a woman, who was backing out of her driveway with two children on board, was struck by two bullets.

Police in Suisun City are investigating a Wednesday shooting incident after at least two unidentified people were involved in an apparent shootout.
Officers responded at 7:45 p.m. to the 600 block of Chyrl Way on a report of shots fired and discovered there were two crime scenes, the first of which was in the 1100 block of Worley Road, police said.
A 33-year-old woman told police she was backing her vehicle out of her driveway with her 11-year-old and 9-year-old daughters in the car when someone fired shots at another person.

Two bullets struck the woman’s car, but no one inside the car was injured, police said.
The suspect then pursued the intended victim south on Worley Road and east to Chryl Way, where officers discovered the second shooting scene, police said. Police said it appears the intended victim started shooting back at the suspect before both fled the area.

Officers recovered numerous spent 9 mm shell casings in the 1100 block of Worley Road and recovered numerous 40-caliber shell casings from the 600 block of Chryl Way.
Officers then responded to the area of Ricky Court and Marcia Lane, where witnesses reported a suspicious person “punching” a bush, police said. During the ensuing search, police discovered a 9 mm semi-automatic handgun and a 22-caliber revolver concealed in the bush. There were not reported injuries in the incident.
