The 24-year-old driver was arrested.

The Solano County coroner’s office has identified a Fairfield man who was killed in a solo vehicle crash early Friday as 24-year-old Amit Sarkaria.
Sarkaria was ejected from the rear window of a 2013 Nissan Altima that crashed into a small ditch and overturned on Mankas Corner Road north of Abernathy Road near Fairfield around 1:40 a.m. Friday, California Highway Patrol Officer Chris Parker said.
Sarkaria was not wearing a seatbelt and died at the scene. Another 24-year-old Fairfield man who was wearing a seatbelt suffered minor injuries.

The driver, Shawn Khabra, 24, of Fairfield, was arrested on suspicion of DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter, Parker said. Khabra was unable to negotiate a sweeping left hand curve on Mankas Corner Road and the Nissan drifted off the right side of the road and into the ditch, Parker said.
