Don't hang up! The Library may be calling you!

Solano County Library is launching a telephone survey.

Solano County Library officials announced today that as part of their strategic planning process, they are launching a telephone survey to understand how the Library can best serve the public. “The feedback we get from these surveys is very valuable when we are making decisions about Library services,” said Bonnie Katz, Solano County Library’s director of library services.

Telephone interviews will be conducted through a random selection of county residents, excluding those residing in Benicia and Dixon who are served by their city libraries. In order to include all residents, not just those who are library users, landline and cell numbers are being obtained from a commercial list broker. Only the Library will have access to the information collected and only residents 18 and older are eligible to participate. Interviews will be conducted in English and Spanish, and will last approximately 12 minutes. “We hope that when residents see Solano County Library on the caller I.D. they will pick up and give us a few minutes of their time,” said Katz.
