Elderly Woman Hospitalized After 2-Alarm Blaze
The fire broke out in a Vallejo four-plex apartment building, officials said.

VALLEJO, CA – An elderly woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a two-alarm fire that started in a kitchen at an apartment complex in Vallejo early this morning, according to Vallejo Fire Department officials.
The blaze was first reported at 2:45 a.m. at the four-plex apartment unit in the 1500 block of Valle Vista Avenue, Fire Engineer Kevin Brown said.
The two units on the upper level were evacuated and the residents displaced, Brown said. The elderly woman who lived in the unit where the blaze started was transported to the hospital for treatment of smoke
inhalation.

The fire was contained at 3:05 a.m. No other residents or firefighters were injured.
