AARP Driver Safety classes are open to anyone age 50 or older, and are now being offered in the Benicia area. It's a great way to refresh your driving skills, and earn a discount on your auto insurance for up to three years, too. The four-hour refresher class is designed for those who have taken the initial eight-hour curse within the past four years. The class runs from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, and will be held in the Benicia Community Center, 370 East L St.; please register for the class by visiting or calling the Benicia Senior Center. Registration fee, payable at the class, is $12 for AARP members; $14 for nonmembers.
